Graveside Services will be held for Mrs. Wanda Sue Douglas, age 89, of Waskom, TX on Friday December 18, 2020 at Restland Cemetery in Waskom Texas at 1:00 P.M. Bro. Michael Richard of First Assembly of God Church, Marshall will be officiating.
Mrs. Wanda Sue Douglas was born August 14, 1931 in Truman, AR to Mr. Ed Ingram and Mrs. Maudie Peeler Ingram. She entered into her eternal rest on December 14, 2020 in Shreveport, LA.
Wanda Sue Douglas married the love of her life, Mr. Aubrey Ray Douglas, on April 5, 1947 in Clarks, LA.
She loved children and worked in childcare at the Treetop Daycare in Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Sue was a faithful attendant in the nursery at First Baptist Church, Waskom, TX, where she and Aubrey we long time members. She always loved the holidays and being near her family, who were her pride and joy.
Wanda Sue Douglas was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years; her son, Phillip Scott Douglas and his wife Lisa; her grandson, Michael Keith Douglas, her parents; her siblings, Audie Faye Ingram, Thomas Ingram, Nickie Ingram, and Jackie Ingram; brothers-in-law, Jim and Mayo Douglas; and sister-in-law, Irene Myers. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Ray Douglas, of Waskom, TX, Steven Edward Douglas and wife Judy, of Waskom, TX; daughters, Teresa Gail Glodo, of Shreveport, LA, and Carolyn Ann Fyffe and husband Jodie, of Karnack, TX; her sister, Vickie Howard and husband Scooter, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Wanda Sue Douglas is dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
