Services will be conducted for Thomas Sapp, 69 of DeBerry, Tx on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Colonial Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Flowers graveside services will follow in Elysian Fields Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Mr. Sapp entered into rest on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Bossier City, La after a brief illness. He was born in Long Beach, Ca. on December 6, 1948. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
Mr. Sapp was a former Caddo Parish Sheriff Deputy and security supervisor at Sam's Town Casino in Shreveport. He loved history and animals but most of all he loved his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Dean Sapp; father, William Earl Sapp; niece, Aynsley Nelson; and great-nephew, Baby Matthew. Mr. Sapp is survived by his loving wife, Melissa N. Sapp; two daughters, Sherri Cade Sholar, and Sheila Guin and husband Jeff; his mother, Lora Ruth Sapp; three sisters, Beverly Hooker, Patty Jager, Sharon Flowers; grandchildren, Breanna, Brooke, Lora Lynn, Olivia, Taylor, Michael, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Pierce, Isabel, Adam Joseph, and Ava; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hooker, Jeremy Michael Rambin, Billy Flowers, Chris Flowers, Paul (PJ) Dimiceli, Chris Holland, Donnie Nelson, and Robert Haven. Honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Hooker.
