Mr. Johnson proudly served his country in the United States Army. He coached Waskom Little and Pony League Baseball for many years. Mr. Johnson was active in Waskom FFA Ag boosters. Later in life, Mr. Johnson enjoyed gardening, sitting on the back porch with his Miller Lite and Snuff, and watching the trucks pass by on I-20.
