Louise Deason Kirbow of Hot Springs, Arkansas died December 21. She was born December 3, 1925 in El Dorado, Arkansas, the daughter of Dewey and Maggie Deason. She was a graduate of El Dorado High School and a devoted Methodist. She lived in Marshall, Texas more than 60 years before moving to Hot Springs in 2015.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Kirbow, a daughter Linda (James) Davis of Hot Springs, and a son, Russell (Jackie) Rogers of Pasadena, Texas. She was the grandmother of Shannon Davis of Bryant, Arkansas, Matt Rogers of Pasadena and Dwayne (Kelly) Wiggins of League City, Texas and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by long time friend Sandra Spenser of Arlington, Texas.
Mrs. Kirbow worked 25 years as a checker for Safeway in Marshall. She enjoyed playing the piano and listening to gospel music. At West Shores, where she lived in Hot Springs, other residents would frequently request her to play the piano in the atrium.
The family expresses thanks and appreciation for the kind and loving care provided Louise by the medical personnel and staff at West Shores.
Arrangements are with Sullivan Funeral Home, Marshall, Texas. Visitation will begin at 10 am up until service time at 11 am on Thursday, December 27 at the Little Chapel by the Lake in Colonial Gardens Cemetery.
