Graveside Services for Mr. Larry Fred Lenzinger, age 80, will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Algoma Cemetery South. Interment will follow at Algoma Cemetery South.
Larry Fred Lenzinger was born May 9, 1940 in Shreveport, LA to Fred Godfrey Lenzinger and Dorothy Foley Lenzinger; he passed from this life, surrounded by his loving family on February 11, 2021 in Denton, TX.
Larry was a Christian with a sincere faith in Christ. His family and friends will always remember him as a very humble and kind man who faithfully sent cards for every birthday and holiday. He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BA in Electronic Engineering. Larry worked in the defense industry early in his career. He was one of the electronic designers for the Gemini Spacecraft Projects 10, 11, and 12. He also worked in depth with computers and was a computer software engineer. Larry enjoyed hiking and camping in Yosemite and Mammoth Mountains, especially hiking Crystal Crag in California. He also had a love of scuba diving, white water rafting, cooking and was an avid photographer.
Mr. Lenzinger was preceded in death by his parents. Left to Cherish his memory are his son, Colton Lenzinger and wife Julie; his daughter, Sena Cole and husband Marty; grandsons, Carson Lenzinger and Luke Lenzinger; his Brother Jerry Lenzinger and wife Donna; his sisters; Paige Ketchum and Denise Omer and husband Gerry, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and beloved friends. Larry Fred Lenzinger is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
