A private graveside service will be held for Mrs. Johnnie Mae Dellinger, age 91, formerly of Marshall, TX.
Mrs. Dellinger was born July 16, 1928 in Marshall, TX to Mr. John Joseph LeBlanc and Mrs. Dixie Mae Greene LeBlanc. She passed from this life May 5, 2020 in Austin, TX.
Mrs. Dellinger attended Marshall public schools and graduated in 1945. Johnnie worked in various positions with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, and retired after 30 years of loyal service. In her spare time she enjoyed painting, ceramics, collecting vintage items, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and various activities with her many friends from Shriners and SWBT. Mrs. Dellinger was a long time member of Second Baptist Church in Marshall.
Mrs. Dellinger was preceded in death by her parents, and her aunts and uncles. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Ting and husband James Ting of Austin, TX, and her cousin Betty Resweber of Beaux Bridge, LA, and numerous relatives and friends.
The Dellinger family would like to say thank you to the late Virgil and Inez Weidman, and to Mike and Robin Weidman for their life-long friendship, assistance, and love throughout the years Also, thank you to Mrs Brenda Payton of Cedar Park, TX, Mrs. Dellinger’s best friend during her final years, and to the many friends and family who have preceded her in death.
