Jerry Fugler, Sr. 91, of Marshall, passed away February 9, 2022 in Marshall. He was born January 2, 1931 in Marshall to A.B. and Ova Lee Harris Fugler. He grew up in Marshall and loved to go fishing on Lake o’ the Pines and Caddo. He always seemed to know exactly where the fish were biting and would grow a crowd around where he was at the lake. He was always easy to find, just look for the man wearing the sombrero. He also liked to watch and talk football. He loved going to high school playoff games and would drive quite the distance to watch them play. When he was not on the water fishing or at a football game, you could find him running Fugler’s Grocery Store.
