Funeral Services for Mrs. JoAnn Waldon Muse Langley, age 84, of Marshall, TX will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Colonial Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall, TX. Interment will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery in Marshall, TX. Bob Bryant of Cypress Valley Bible Church will be Officiating. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sullivan Funeral Home.

JoAnn Waldon Muse Langley was born October 13, 1936 in Marshall, TX to R.V. Waldon and Exa Gay Martin Waldon. She passed from this life into the presence of her Lord and Savior on November 2, 2020 in Marshall, TX.

JoAnn Waldon Muse Langley grew up and attended school in Marshall, TX. JoAnn absolutely loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her family was without second only to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. JoAnn was a faithful member of Cypress Valley Bible Church. She was always a joy to be around, especially during the holidays. Halloween was always special. JoAnn would have neighborhood cookouts, hayrides, and transform her home into the neighborhood spook house. Always wanting to learn she returned to college and received several certifications in Office Technology. She loved to travel. The beach and the mountains were some of her favorite destinations. Mrs. Langley especially loved her “Girl Trips” the last of which was to see the Passion Play. Her family was always together at Christmas. The family always looked forward to her made from scratch corn bread and pies. JoAnn Langley loved her family dearly and lived a life of laughter, kindness, and love.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husbands, James Muse and Randall Langley, her parents; and her sister in law, Mary Waldon. She is survived by her daughter, Debby Jones and husband Ricky; her sons, Tony Muse and wife Stephanie, Doug Muse and wife Pam; her stepdaughter, Shelley Tew and husband Dennis; her stepson, David Langley and wife Debra; her brother, Jerry Waldon, and numerous grand and great grandchildren, other relatives and dear friends. JoAnn Waldon Muse Langley is dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
