Jesse Richard Bingham, 81, of Diana, TX passed away March 13, 2020 in Cumby, TX. Richard was born April 19, 1938 in Marshall, TX to Middy Pascal Bingham and Minnie Lou Clark Bingham. After graduating from high school, Richard enlisted in the US Army and served at West Point, NY until his discharge in 1961. He enjoyed reading his bible and working in his yard. Richard worked as a truck driver for most of his adult life.
Richard is survived by his daughter: Debra Bingham Massey and her husband Pat of Cumby, TX; son: Richard Lee Bingham and his wife Tammy of Seven Points; ten grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; sister: Faye Jones of Diana; brother: Frank Bingham of Diana; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Anthony Bingham.
A time of visitation with Richard’s family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Sullivan Funeral Home, 100 East Travis Street, Marshall, TX. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Eagle Creek Cemetery, Harleton, TX. Services are under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home, 100 East Travis Street, Marshall, TX.
