Glenn Richard Munden, age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at his home in New Braunfels, TX. He was born July 17, 1938, in Marshall, TX, to Olgie Munden and Roy Munden. Glenn was a successful entrepreneur who was enjoying his retirement.
Glenn graduated from Marshall High School and went on to study Finance & Accounting at the University of Texas, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Business in 1963.
Glenn took pride in being an entrepreneur and Certified Public Accountant. He started his own roofing company, Aamco that became one of the largest roofing companies in Houston, TX. Among other business endeavors, Glenn owned his own CPA practice, built town homes throughout the Montrose area and owned Green Thumb Landscaping.
Glenn was passionate about traveling and spending time with his friends. He spent as much time as he could in his favorite place – Hawaii. “A Hui Hou Kakou.” (Until we meet again)
Glenn is survived by Michael Holcomb, Kathy Lobue, Becky Gray and his loving nieces and nephews, Natalie Patton, Natasha Stanley and David Lobue. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him and his beautiful life will forever be cherished in the hearts of those that loved him.
He was proceeded in death by his mother Olgie Munden, his father Roy Munden and his brother Bobbie Munden.
Visitation will be Friday, July 20, from 5-8pm, at the Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall, TX. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 21 at 10am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel in Marshall, TX.
