Franklin Dexter Briggs was born December 19, 1937 in Carthage Texas to Jack Briggs and Bulah Mae Bullock, and passed away peacefully January 25, 2022 in Marshall, TX. Frank grew up in the East Texas Area, and worked for the City of Marshall as a Water Operator for over 20 years, retiring so that he could do more of what he loved: fishing, traveling and going to casinos. Frank was married to his first wife, Marie for 26 years until her passing in 1991, he then married Sarah "Jean" whom he was married to until he went home to be with the lord. Frank was preceded in death by his mother and father, three siblings, Raymond, Ruby and Mae, and his very special Uncle Ollie. Left to Cherish his memory are his wife, Sarah Briggs, daughter, Debra Breeden and her husband Randy, bonus daughter Cindy Pepper and bonus son John Lawrence; grandchildren, Frank Patel and his wife Amber, Eric Breeden and his wife Sarah, Jessica Breeden (David Gomez Jr.), Ronnie & Ryan Pepper, Michael & Madison Lawrence; great grandchildren, KarLeigh, KyLeigh, KenLeigh, Remington Gomez, Aubrey and Kinsley Patel, Eric, Eli and Ezra Breeden. Frank will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Graveside service will be held for his immediate family at a later date.
