Memorial Services for Mr. Ernest H. Williams, age 77, of Hallsville, TX will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at The Colonial Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall, TX. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The Colonial Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall, TX.
Ernest H. Williams was born December 20, 1943 in Dexter, New Mexico to Mr. Landas H. Williams and Mrs. Dollie J. Harbin Williams. He passed from this life into the presence of his Savior Jesus Christ on May 9, 2021 in Gladewater, TX.
Ernest H. Williams was a kind and loving man; always giving and helpful to those around him. He was a musician, skilled on the guitar, harmonica, and fiddle. Ernest was a songwriter who enjoyed writing, singing, and recording music, especially Southern Gospel. He leaves hundreds of beautiful songs behind. Mr. Williams enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and angler. In the words that he penned in his music and in life he always wanted to share the Gospel Message that Jesus Saves and Jesus Loves!
Ernest H. Williams was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Landreth Williams; his parents; and sisters, Opal Barnes and Evelyn Musgraves. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Daryl Williams and fiancé Connie Jones; his daughter, Jolene Williams; his grandchildren, Heather Lansdale, Autumn Jackson and husband Kyonte, Michael Hoffman, Josh Hines, Shawnda Searcy and husband Kenneth, Felisha Sanchez and husband Matt, and Antonio Jackson, Six Great Grandchildren; his brother, Lloyd Williams and wife Letha, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. Ernest H. Williams is greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
