Mrs. Diann Gail McDonald passed from this life on Friday, June 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Woodlawn, TX. A private service is scheduled for Mrs. McDonald with Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall, TX.
Diann McDonald was born February 10, 1943 in Huntington, WV to William Sherman and Bernice Bostic Blevins. Diann would marry Mr. Reginald McDonald and spend 41 wonderful years together as husband and wife. Mrs. McDonald made her home in Woodlawn, TX where she was known as a skilled seamstress. On any given day one could find Diann playing mahjong on her tablet, one of her favorite hobbies. Mrs. McDonald was never one to hold back what she was thinking and will be remembered for “telling you how it was.” Diann was much loved and will be greatly missed, she was a rock to her family, the glue that held them together.
Mrs. McDonald is preceded in death by her loving husband; two sons, David Herman, and Johnathan McDonald, her parents; one sister, Dolores Barr; and a brother, William Blevins. Diann is survived by her daughters, Jessica McDonald, Dana Sanders and husband Shannon, Virginia Brothers and husband Scottie, and Barbie McDonald; sons, Michael McDonald, and Sherman McDonald, and several grand, and great grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.
