Memorial Services with Military Honors are scheduled for Mr. Daniel Manuel Contreras on Friday November 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Veterans Cemetery in Dallas, TX.

Daniel Contreras completed school at Troger Tech and attended El Centro College. He would go on to have a successful career in law enforcement, serving as a police officer in Dallas, TX and as Chief of Police for Copperal Hill, TX. Mr. Contreras was a proud veteran having served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Contreras is preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings. He is survived by his sons, Darrell Contreras and wife Merilee, and Thomas Contreras; daughters, Angela Edwards and husband Bubba, and Mandi Condrey and husband Junior; grandchildren, Corey Contreras, Shanna Trosko, Anthony Contreras, Shelby Gallay, Courtney Gallay, Colton Fields, Sarah Fields, Alexil Minger, Christopher Ramirez, Paul Ramirez, and Johnathan Ramirez, nine great grandchildren; his brother, Edward Contreras; two sisters, Mary Jesse Samudio, and Mary Ruiz, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
