Mrs. Betty Jean Watson Kincaid age 93, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Dallas after a lengthy illness. She was born December 4, 1924 in Bonham, TX to Lois and Donnie Lee Watson.
Mrs. Kincaid was a graduate of Bonham High School. She moved to Grand Prairie in the 1940’s where she was active in the Twentieth Century Study Club and a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Kincaid was a home maker who loved to cook for her family. She had a love for animals, especially her poodle Suzette. Above everything else, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Mrs. Kincaid was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson “Jack” Kincaid Jr.; her parents; brother, Ralph Watson; and sister, Lorena Pyle. She is survived by daughters, Betty King and husband Kenneth, Terry Peters and husband Jim, Jackie Warner and husband Carl; two stepsons, John Kincaid III and wife Cheryl, Gary Kincaid and wife Marie; and one stepdaughter Kathy Grimshaw and husband Pete; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Little Chapel by the Lake at Colonial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, TX. Visitation will be at the Little Chapel by the Lake on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to service time.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth King, James Peters, Carl Warner, Alex King, Reid Warner, Mike Wood, and Maney Planchard.
